Well…  Lots of updates and stuff going on and general craziness!  First off, and most importantly, I’m headed to New York for Retail Therapy for a few days.  Forgive me if I don’t return e-mails right away, I’ll get back to everyone when I get back home – Probably Monday.  Jake will keep everyone in the loop if there’s much to report while I’m gone.

We’re going to take this weekend to run a site-wide backup now that the notes are fixed.  Although I’ve still found errors on 3 people (James Baker III, John O’Neill and Leonard McKenna) I have high hopes that we’ve seen the last of the crazy bug that caused such a ruckus in our TNG program after this last upgrade.  Huge thanks to Darrin Lythgoe of http://www.tngsitebuilding.com/ for his great customer service and support while we were fixing our ‘issues’!

I’ve been slowly going through the trees and getting rid of any extra code left over from the original gedcom uploads…  The Agner-Doring tree is about finished and I have the Baker’s left to do (Hopefully before I’m off!  Or maybe not given how long this post alone is taking me!).  Jake’s had some really big progress with the MacDiarmaid Tree, including some spelling variations with Mcdermid and Mcdermont (Proving I’m not the only one who can’t spell it!) and he’ll be uploading a lot of it over the next few weeks.  Also progress with the Davidson line and a few extra Bakers.  We’ve tracked a few extra FindAGrave.com numbers down as well…  I’m thinking it’s about time to compile a master list of all those links, maybe find out who’s missing and see if we can’t locate a few graves we haven’t yet.

I did fix two memorial posts on this blog – One had a broken picture and the other picture was missing completely.  Hopefully once we’ve accomplished a fair amount of this cleaning up and fixing up we’ll be ready to get some work done!  I’m really looking forward to being able to work on the See lines, and perhaps a road trip to Kingston…  And just generally progressing.  We’ve been doing really well this last few weeks and starting to pick up momentum on a few dead ends I can’t wait to see what happens with and I know the rest of the team is just as excited.  Oh and there’s LOTS of pictures coming…  Finally getting those up will be a huge relief and a big job accomplished.  Lots to come!

On that note, I should get the rest of my suitcase packed up because the morning will come early!  Best wishes to all! ♥♥♥
