Cemetery Update

The New Decade: 2020

This last few years have been filled with some truly devastating losses, and we give our condolences to all of the families who lost loved ones. They won’t be forgotten, and we work diligently to preserve the memories and legacy of all of those who have gone before us.

Looking back on this last decade, we can see the sheer amount of progress we’ve made on identifying family lines, putting together our genealogy and claiming more of our lost cultural identities. We’re far from done, with so much more waiting for us.

This year alone we’ve added over 15,000 grave photographs to FindAGrave.com in an effort to help others find missing links in their own research. Most of the photographs have been based out of Texas, where Dad’s been working away at getting through Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery and Mausoleum Memorials – A likely 30,000 grave cemetery. Between his photography and Jenn’s filing they have made a super team of cataloguing and helping folks as much as they can manage. There’s now been 36 Volunteer photographs managed, hopefully with more to come.

We have hope for progress in updating and upgrading the website in the beginning of this year, along with additions to the various lines that need work. There was quite a bit lost in a drive crash around October-November, we’re still trying to cobble together the bits and pieces to make sense of what was lost. if you haven’t had a response to any e-mails sent out – It’s quite possible they were lost, please do resend or reach out.

As always we’d like to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and extend our hopes for a peaceful new decade. From all of us at SnowStones.com and SkeletonGen.com, Pishshapmishko, Take care!
