Genealogy Update

Elvis has left the building…

Topic: A wee break, sort of.
Family Name Associations: All
Location: Barrie, Ontario
Mood: Tired. I’m having coffee.
It’s that time of year again. The one where I smile at all the genealogy going on, and take a step back to go make sure no one is spending this Halloween naked.
This year’s theme is Faeries and Mythological Creatures.

We had to open it up a bit from Faeries and Gnomes because of the amount of people participating this year… There’s going to be a ton of us. It’s going to be one heck of a party!

Anyways… In my self imposed absence, Mark will mostly be dealing with things. Records, any e-mail I just can’t get to and whatnot.

I’d like to take a moment this morning to say a huge thank you to cousin Lee from BC, who provided us with a ton of records this morning that all link into the Keffer tree… They’re amazing, and so are you Lee!
We still haven’t fixed what’s going on at the top of the Keffer tree, and apparently the Bakers are having the same issue. We’re also noticing hiccups with ‘notes’ and all that’s on Mark’s plate now πŸ™‚

We also have some work to do on the Campbell/Canuel line. There’s some questions there about a native link to the MicMac tribe, some interesting family stories… We have work to do, that’s for sure! Right after Christmas is going to be a very, very busy time around here. Yeah, like it’s not always busy, I know!
But a thanks again to cousin Cheryl for all those interesting hints… I can’t wait to dig in and start getting more information πŸ™‚

Oh and if there’s anything big, Mark or Jimothy will post it… Did I get it right this time? Jimothy?
Good times.

Alright… I’ll be back! Terminator style πŸ˜‰

Always one for making things pretty, Jenn is our resident artist. MΓ©tis, British Home Child Descendant, family historian and genealogist, she is always looking into some new branch of research and encourages historical preservation and education.
