Each Family Surname has a unique historical evolution that begins with origin and expands with migration and immigration. Some Surnames were based on craft or occupation, some changed spelling based on pronunciation when arriving in a new land, but all of these titles have a story. Our Heraldry pages are an effort in cataloging and recording the individual stories of families and their surnames. Included in these pages when possible will be the Arms and Heraldry of each Family. As well as plaids and tartans, badges and links to family based surname websites or Clans. Through origin, culture and heraldry we get a more complete picture of who our ancestors were as people. If you have information pertaining to the names listed below, please don’t hesitate to contact us at CSGS@SnowStones.com.
