November 2001

The Month of the Snow Moon and the Blue Moon

The Snow Moon covers a time of coming darkness. To keep the warmth of Summer alive in your heart, take up a new indoor craft or find a new book to read - Something that reminds you of happy and peaceful times.

A Blue Moon occurs when there are 2 full moons in one month's span. It is a time of unusual occurrence, so join in the fun. Do something you've never tried before, get friends and family involved in your fun!

The titles of each Moon Phase are according to the Old Medieval Calendar, as there are several sources which have their own monthly titles and meanings.  Each year I intend to focus on a different calendar and set of Lunar titles.
