"Look not mournfully into the past.
It comes not back again. Wisely improve the present.
It is thine. Go forth to meet the shadowy future, without fear."
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 - 1882)

Year after year, there are some things that do not fade with the sands of time.  But rather they bloom renewed with each generation that follow it's practice in the ways of those who have gone before.

Traditions are things that have been passed on, through oral or recorded history.  They are beautiful languages of flowers, stones, symbols and gifts that reflect a deeper meaning and emotion.  It is my hope that by sharing our history we will preserve our selves...  By giving a sense of who we are to the future.

The information found within this section of the website is attributed to tradition and can be found in various places on the internet and within common printed calendars.  It is considered public knowledge and free of individual copyright.  Gift ideas an personal insights are my own thoughts and opinions, please be advised by my site disclaimer.
