Ruby is the stone of Fire, an elemental representation that does fine work in calling a quarter.  Ruby is a female stone, it encourages natural beauty and strength of spirit.  Those who wear rubies will be well off, as rubies attract wealth and prosperity.  Ruby is also a stone of love and loyalty, it has the ability to aid in reconciling any lovers quarrel.

The stone Carnelian encourages one to find their inner voice.  It also aids in healing any throat or speech malady, a good gift for a  child who has trouble speaking, or for someone who is shy.
