Or that beautiful Grandfather clock he's had his eye on for his study? As a gift to the couple, personalized stationary is an excellent idea.
2 Second	Cotton	China	Rose Quartz Garnet	Cosmos	The couple might want to buy themselves a gift, rather than getting individual things if china is the order of the anniversary. Things today are expensive, and if you and your mate are worried about the cost, why not just throw in together and come up with something you will both use? The other suggestion is new sheets, new towels, or anything made of cotton. Maybe a new shirt or sweater in their favourite colour? Match robes is another option.

You could get a crystal set of glasses for yourselves, something for you both that you will use. Or there is the option of going together to purchase leather jackets. It might just be a fun way to spend a day together and find the perfect winter coats. If you are looking for something to give a lucky couple, finding out their preferred crystal pattern and getting an add-on for their collection might be the perfect gift. Other ideas include Swarovski Crystal, which makes figurines in every imaginable shape and size, or leather gloves.

Lets hope not... The giving of toasters, blenders, microwaves and cappuccino makers is what is suggested as a fourth Wedding Anniversary gift. However, speaking as a 'modern' woman, men be warned... I would not bring your wife home a kettle as an anniversary gift. Note 'flowers'. A dozen roses are always welcome.
5 Fifth	Wood	Silverware	Turquoise Sapphire	Daisy	Wooden chests and trunks bought while antiquating together? Or maybe that pretty carved rocking chair she's had her eye on. Wooden artefacts aren't hard to find at all, and you can get things that fit any price range. If you're really talented maybe something you've made yourself is in order. A hope chest to keep for generations is a very romantic gift, or if you're looking to buy silver and wood, maybe a carved silverware box and a silver pattern you both like.
6 Sixth	Iron	Wood	Amethyst Garnet	Calla Lily	Cast wrought iron has been all the latest rage in interior design for the last little while. Why not a fancy candle holder to set in the bathroom for a little ambiance while you are in the bubble-filled tub together? A wrought iron bed frame is another idea, or if you missed a hope chest last year, now's your chance!
7 Seventh	Copper	Desk Sets	Lapis Lazuli Onyx	Jack in the Pulpit or Indian Turnip	Copper is another one of those old things made new again, you can find it almost anywhere. For those of us with the right decor, copper candleholders, figurines and lamp bases are a beautiful addition to our homes. Don't forget those antique or thrift shops! They've got a great selection and usually are a little lower in cost than the everyday boutique shops. The other option is to get your mate a beautiful desk set for the office, or for their desk at home. Something personal that suits their personality is best... Consider having a small engraved plate added with an endearing message to your loved one.

Those of you gifted enough to be able to cross-stitch and personalize your linens, consider pillowcases or even personalized towels.

Other unique options involving leather gifts can fall towards the risqué, or even lean towards new tack for the avid horseback rider. Pottery is the other option, and there are some beautiful new designs out there that could possibly become collector edition pieces. Willow wood chests are also an idea, or willow formed furniture for outdoors. If you're looking for something unusual to give to each other, why not look into pottery classes? Maybe you've got a talent you've yet to discover.

A popular ten year anniversary gift in today's diamond industry is a band of diamonds set in a row, and if made correctly there would be ten stones in the ring. For those of us who find the fancy stones a little too pricey, there is always the option of buying an aluminium sculpture. There is a new line of Canadian Aluminium figurines out that resemble wild life... Just food for thought.
11 Eleventh	Steel		Hematite Turquoise	Morning Glory	Perhaps a letter opener? Sculpture is another option. Or, if you're really looking to knock someone's socks off, a new car might fit...
12 Twelfth	Silk	Pearl	Agate Jade	Peony	Well, silk is quite easy, boxer shorts or sexy nighties are always the way to inspire a romantic evening for two. Pearl can be something quite unique, weather it be an old fashioned single string or a tear drop pendant. For him you might consider a new watch with a pearl face.
13 Thirteenth	Lace	Furs	Citrine Malachite Moonstone	Hollyhock	Getting lingerie two years in a row could be a little monotonous, so maybe you should consider something else with lace in it. A new table cloth, maybe a new dress that you'll always remember as your 13th anniversary dress. Furs are another option, although they aren't something I personally recommend. A mink or even leather is an option, just try to make sure that they're made animal skins that aren't on the endangered species list..
14 Fourteenth	Ivory	Gold	Moss Agate Opal	Dahlia	Ivory is a gift that I also refuse to endorse, mostly because elephants are poached and killed simply for their tusks. If we all don't support these trades they will cease to exist. Gold is common enough and can be purchased in a variety of different forms, maybe a locket or even a special piece of jewellery. Women might consider purchasing a tie clip or even cufflinks, such a personalized gift will be cherished for sure.
15 Fifteenth	Crystal	Watches	Ruby	Rose	His and her watches are a beautiful idea, matching or even something you shopped for together. Or if you're feeling a little more unique, perhaps a pocket watch is what you're looking for. You can either get a new one and have it engraved with a personal message, or maybe go looking for an antique watch that carries a piece of the past with it. You might also look into a Grandfather clock for your living room, or crystal ware for special occasions.
20 Twentieth	China	Platinum	Emerald	Day Lily	Twenty years together can't really be described in gifts. Personally I think if you've made it this far, you should really consider going away together or doing something you've always really wanted to do. China and Platinum are the traditional gifts given and received on this special occasion. If you need a new set of china, possibly consider setting up a registration at the place you've found the set at, that way close friends and family wanting to give you something special can all pitch in.
25 Twenty-Fifth Known as the Silver Anniversary	Silver	Silver		Iris	What more can we say? If you've been together 25 years, you deserve a King's ransom in Silver! Gifts for the special couple could consist of new silverware, silver etched plates commemorating 25 years, or even silver trinkets from family and friends. I'm not going to write anything more after this anniversary. The numbers are here as a reference.
