This little book is so handy!  It's full of really good tips regarding plants, scents and acupressure points that make healing with hands and natural herbal remedies possible.  From PMS to teething, it covers a variety of different possibilities and variations in situations and remedies.  There's also a handy resource guide in the back of the book for those seeking further information.

I love this book.  Not only are the pictures lovely, but the content is brief and to the point… It covers everything from acupressure to different ways of carrying your baby around, all designed to point out the benefits to close contact parenting. It also has pages devoted to different cultural practices, single parenting, as well as an excellent section devoted to bereavement, separation and divorce.  It’s a good beginning parenting resource.

This book had some nice concepts.  Like changing nursery rhymes to have better, more loving lyrics.  At the same time, nursery rhymes are tradition, and I don't really think they should be changed.  She had some good ideas for children's activities, and I agree with a lot of her theories...  I'm just not sure about it all in practice.  I think only time will tell on this one.

I really liked this one.  It’s got a lot of good tips, a lot of practical knowledge…  It encourages to do what you’re comfortable with in order to get your children to sleep comfortably through the night and really advocates being close to your child at all times.  Something I’m big on.  I like it, and it’s helped me out a lot, it includes information on problems such as Nightmares.

Some of the photos in this book scared me!  Including one of the first photos of a woman with four newborns…  But that’s just me and my issues.  Two was more than enough, I can’t contemplate four without needing a does of Rescue Remedy.
It’s got some cute stories, and honestly made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the world of twins and multiple births.  There’s a lot of information on feeding, as well as twin habits through growing up.  Over all it’s a good resource.

This is a cute book, very colourful with a lot of good ideas for you and your little ones.  It covers everything from simple songs and play time, to more complex activities like pat care and playing with groups.  It also has a fair share of outdoor activities, so it's happy in my world.

Title: Twins : From Conception to Five Years
Author: Averil Clegg and Anne Woolett

Publisher: Ballantine Books
ISBN: 0-345-35661-6

This book is from the early 80s, so it has an older feel to it, however the information is still good.  It’s a basic over view of twins, from pregnancy right up to a paragraph on teenagers.  It’s a good starter book, but you have to do a lot more research on some of the listed terms and concepts.
