I can remember the first time I knew
I wanted to heal. I was a child visiting my Aunt in the city. She
was a Nurse, and we were visiting her at the hospital where she was
working. I remember wanting to be like her, to help the sick people and
make it so they could leave the confining walls of the house for sick people.
A whole lot has changed since then, however... I still find myself wanting
to heal. Herbs are a very serious medical tool, they can heal, and they
can harm. Never take their powers for granted. Never under estimate
the strength of teas, potions, slaves or tintitures. Don't take for
granted the old wives tales that claim aloe for burns, or rosemary for
memory. For the Gods gave us everything we would need, they gave the Earth
Mother the power to create cures for all things made here within her womb.
So find wisdom within this Craft of Witches. For it is old and good, and a
connection with our Earth Mother that shall not be severed.
