The baby of the house has quickly been
dubbed Wynkin the Wonder Cat.
So here she is, Princess Wynkin sitting atop her throne, surveying her
Kingdom.

After Nyx had passed, I wasn't quite ready for another attempt at having a kitten. But the kids really wanted to try again, and so they found an ally in Cuileann, Mistress of all Cats.
Our friend Kriket offered us to come and take a look at her most recent litter, and I couldn't refuse the offer to go play with all the babies. Right away there were two that caught my eye... We knew we wanted girls, so it would be a wait to figure out exactly which was which. But Swan, and a darling named Wynk were my decided favourites. It was a while to wait, but by late October the babies were ready to go! Both Swan and Wynk were girls, but when we went back to visit Swan was curled up sleeping and Wynk was ready to go!
She slipped into our lives so easily. Even Bailey seemed to take to our newest bundle of fur with peaceful resignation.
Wynk originally got her name from having one eye open faster than the other, but we decided that by spelling it Wyn it represented the Rune for companionship and good fortune. Soon enough Wynk turned to Wynkin, and given who was calling her, could be altered to Ink.
Whatever we're calling her, she's growing well and taken a shine to sleeping on Serina's pillow. We're very pleased with our youngest furbaby.
